Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps

Wash and prepare the salad vegetables.

Heat the Olive Oil in a pan on a medium heat, then sauté the Garlic for about a minute (don’t let it turn brown).

Add the Green Bell Pepper and sauté for another minute, then fry the Ground Turkey for 2 minutes. Add the Ground Cumin, Ground Coriander, Chili Powder, Smoked Paprika and Dried Oregano, season with Sea Salt & Black Pepper and fry for another 3 minutes, until the turkey is cooked through.

Lay the Romaine Lettuce leaves on a plate (layer 2 leaves together for added strength), then spoon the turkey down the centre of the top lettuce leaf. Top the turkey with the diced Tomato, Red Onion and grated Cheddar to serve. This recipe should make 2 Turkey Taco Lettuce Wraps.

*Ground beef and pork also work well with this recipe in place of ground turkey.
